Body found at Coogee Beach

A body was found at Coogee Beach in Sydney's eastern suburbs this morning.
Police confirmed that surf lifesavers found the body of a 58-year-old man about 6.30am.
It is believed the deceased was fully clothed.

The body remained on the beach, covered in a white sheet as police scoured the scene for clues.
Police rescue members erected a tent around the body but the beach remained open to swimmers.
A police spokeswoman said the death was not being treated as suspicious.
A post-mortem will be conducted to determine the cause of death.
