Body found after reports of Brisbane fight

The body of a man has been found on a Brisbane road after reports of a violent assault.

Police officers were sent to Idamea Street at Carina Heights after receiving reports about a fight about 2.30am (AEST) on Wednesday.

The man's body was found in nearby Mons Road a short time later.

"Two crime scenes have been established, and investigators are currently still on scene," police said.
