Partially submerged body discovered in Port Phillip Bay

A passer-by has discovered the partially submerged body of a man in Melbourne's bayside.

Authorities said they were called to Olivers Hill at 6.30am near Frankston after the discovery.

Water Police have retrieved the body from the water.

The exact circumstances surrounding the death have not been determined.
