Bob Katter's bizarre response to same-sex marriage vote

Bob Katter has left the internet baffled by his response on the same-sex marriage vote, commenting he won't spend any more time on it due to a person being "torn to pieces by a crocodile in North Queensland" every three months.

The Independent member of Parliament confused reporters with the statement on Sunday, when he told reporters that "people are entitled to their own sexual proclivities".

"I mean let there be a thousand blossoms bloomed, as far as I'm concerned.
"But I ain't spending any time on it because in the meantime every three months a person is torn to pieces by a crocodile in north Queensland".

Twitter users reactions ranged from branding Katter as the new Gollum to suggesting he could be the new ambassador for Queensland Tourism.
