Boat found in search for missing Melbourne pair

A submerged boat has been found in the search for an 83-year-old woman and her son off the coast of Ricketts Point in Melbourne.

A fisherman made the discovery about four nautical miles, or roughly seven kilometres, off the coast this morning.

Felicity Loveday, 83, and her 56-year-old son Adrian Meneveau were last seen at 7am on Wednesday at Olivers Hill boat ramp in Frankston.

The pair told family they were going on a trip for a couple of days on their boat, registered ER422.

Water police, Search and Rescue, Police Air Wing and Coast Guard are still searching for the pair.

Anyone who has information as to the pair's whereabouts or who saw them on the water is urged to contact Crime Stoppers.
