Black smoke billows from North Geelong warehouse fire

Firefighters are battling an out-of-control fire at a warehouse in North Geelong, in regional Victoria, with black smoke billowing from the building.

The Country Fire Authority (CFA) has said that there is no threat to the community from the fire near Inkerman Street, but advised people to avoid the area.

Residents nearby are warned to stay indoors and close off all exterior doors, windows and vents, and ensure that all heating and cooling systems are turned off.
