Bishop to hold milestone talks in Vietnam

Foreign Affairs Minister Julie Bishop will fly to Vietnam on Saturday to mark a 45 year milestone in Australia's diplomatic relations with the communist nation.
Ms Bishop will meet with Vietnamese Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc and co-chair an inaugural meeting between the two country's foreign ministers.
"While we have different values and political systems, Australia and Vietnam share important strategic interests," Ms Bishop said in a statement on Saturday.
