Bronwyn Bishop's political future to be decided today

The political future of former Speaker and veteran Liberal MP Bronwyn Bishop will be revealed when the party makes its preselection decision for her NSW seat.
Mrs Bishop, 73, will learn today whether she will represent the Liberal Party in the seat of MacKellar at this year's federal election.
The former Speaker, who was forced to resign over a $5500 helicopter ride to a Liberal fundraiser, has not won the endorsement of former prime minister Tony Abbott.
He'll instead back his close friend, business consultant Walter Villatora.
Mrs Bishop, who has reportedly faced internal pressure to retire, is also up against veteran Liberal Party member Jason Falinski.
Preselection for Berowra the seat of retiring veteran MP Philip Ruddock will also be determined today.
