Bishop notes Tillerson's links to Aust

Foreign Minister Julie Bishop says Donald Trump's choice of US secretary of state, Exxon Mobil chief Rex Tillerson, has an extraordinary network of international contacts and understands foreign affairs.
Ms Bishop noted the businessman, who's appointment must be confirmed by a US Senate process, received a America Australia Association award in 2012.
"Many Australians who have worked for Exxon Mobil speak very highly of him," she told Sky News on Wednesday.
