Heavily-armed police have raided nearly two dozen Victorian properties linked to the Rebels bikie gang, as part of an ongoing murder investigation.

Thirteen people were arrested including five Rebels members and associates, one as young as 17.

Officers seized drugs, firearms, computers and stolen vehicles from properties across Melbourne, Geelong and Traralgon.

Assistant Commissioner Steve Fontana said "we're not going to stand back and tolerate this intimidation, threats and violent activity by these type of criminal organisations."

Police allege the Rebels were directly involved in the grisly death of Michael Ali Sleiman in Deer Park on Australia Day.

Up to 15 men stormed Mr Sleiman's home before a brawl broke out.

"It wasn't bikie on bikie, this was an act of a group of bikies that targeted another person that wasn't associated with outlaw motorcycle gangs," Mr Fontana said.

Four men including two patched Rebels have already been charged over Mr Sleiman's death.
