Mongols bikie charged over theft of four bulldog pups

A patched Mongols member has charged over the theft of four bulldog puppies allegedly stolen from a Gold Coast Hinterland breeder.

Police arrested the man today after recovering the puppies on April 28 at a Biggera Waters property.

The 26-year-old bikie has been charged with stealing or alternatively receiving the pups.

Breeder Bianca Muddle was relieved to see the puppies again after posting a $10,000 reward for them on Facebook.

"Finding it hard to accept what has happened and I pray that my little girls are safe and well wherever they are," she wrote at the time.

Detective Acting Inspector David Cole said it was "very satisfying" to see the puppies recovered and the alleged offender arrested so quickly.
