Broncos halfback Ben Hunt has accepted a one match ban for a dangerous throw during Sunday's grand final against the Cowboys.

Hunt, who had a nightmare end to the game when he fumbled the Cowboys' kick-off in golden point, was also slapped with a grade two dangerous throw charge for a 77th minute tackle on Cowboys centre Kane Linnett.

The early guilty plea means Hunt will only serve a one match suspension instead of two.

Hunt's teammate Adam Blair also accepted an early guilty plea for his high tackle charge on Jake Granville and has escaped suspension.
