Fridges recalled after 'multiple fires', injuries
Owners of a particular line of BeefEater Barbecues fridges have been urged to turn them off immediately after multiple fires.
BeefEater is conducting a recall of its double-door BS28200 fridges and its single-door BS28130 fridges.
The company said water could penetrate the sealed electrical control board located on the rear of the refrigerator.

"The refrigerator may have a fault which can cause it to catch on fire," the recall notice said.
"There have been multiple fires in these refrigerators causing property damage and injury."
People are urged to safely turn the power to the fridge off and disconnect them from the source.

Affected models were sold from about July 2017 to November 2021.
They have serial numbers ranging from 72900000 to 95299999, and 00100000 to 04599999 only.
The serial plate bearing the product number can be found at the bottom of the inside right-hand wall of the fridge.
