Owners of a particular line of BeefEater Barbecues fridges have been urged to turn them off immediately after multiple fires.

BeefEater is conducting a recall of its double-door BS28200 fridges and its single-door BS28130 fridges.

The company said water could penetrate the sealed electrical control board located on the rear of the refrigerator.
