Teenager found dead after going missing in Sydney's north

The body of a Sydney teenager has been found weeks after he was reported missing.
The 17-year-old was last seen in Beecroft, in Sydney's north on Monday, December 16, 2024.
Police were notified when he didn't return home, and began searching in the North Rocks area.

On Saturday, December 28, 2024, police found the body believed to be the 17-year-old.
Police will prepare a report for the coroner.
