Baryulgil in NSW returns a quick count

The tiny NSW hamlet of Baryulgil has been one of the first polling places in the country to finalise its vote count.

The local public school booth is in the marginal Nationals seat of Page.

Voters gave MP Kevin Hogan 23 of the 40 votes cast while eight went to Labor challenger Janelle Saffin.
