Banks review domestic violence help

The banking industry is reviewing how it can help customers affected by domestic violence.

The Australian Bankers Association announced a review of its financial hardship and abuse guidelines on White Ribbon Day.

"There are clearly some sensitive and legally complex matters we need to work through, such as making sure customer information is managed and stored appropriately," the association said in a statement.
