First flight to Bali from Perth in two years taking off this morning
Australian holiday-goers have reason to celebrate today as direct flights from Perth to Bali return after a two-year absence.
Fully-vaccinated travellers will not need to quarantine on arrival after the Indonesian government relaxed COVID-19 restrictions for the holiday isle.
Travellers will need to undergo a PCR test 48 hours before their departure time, and another one on arrival.

And per Indonesian government requirements, visitors will also need to take a PCR test on day three of their stay.
They will also need to bring their vaccine certificates.
It comes less than a month after Australia's first direct flights to Bali resumed from Melbourne.

The first flight from Perth will leave just before 7.30 (AWST) this morning.
As more flights to Bali from Australia return - with Sydney and Brisbane set to be next - it marks a growing boost for the popular holiday island.
In 2019 before COVID-19 saw the world grind to a halt, Bali received more than 6.3 million international visitors.
