The deceased are yet to be formally identified and the exact cause of death are yet to be determined.

Police are not looking for any suspects, and scoured the scene for hours today.

Locals described the couple as well-liked within the community.

“It’s really sad news, it’s a really close-knit community,” local worker Jordan Rogers said.

Resident Nadia said she was warmly welcomed by the couple when she moved into the area seven years ago.

“They had some history with the area… they made me feel very welcome,” she said.

“My heart feels sorrow. They were elderly, in the golden years (of their lives). I’m very surprised.”

It is yet to be determined if local police or homicide squad will lead the ongoing investigation.
