Twelve-year-old Perth mother 'pregnant by step-brother'

The boy believed to have fathered a baby with a 12-year-old Perth girl is understood to be her 14-year-old stepbrother.
It is unclear if the boy and girl were living together.

Police have confirmed they are working with both the family, and child protection authorities.
Police Commissioner Chris Dawson yesterday said: "While there is a police investigation, it's primarily centred on... welfare".
The girl was just 11 when she fell pregnant and gave birth at home earlier this month, before being taken to hospital.
She is one of the youngest mothers registered in WA.
