Missing Queensland baby found safe and well

A missing baby boy police feared may have been at significant risk of harm has been found safe and well.

The seven-month-old and his father were located by police at Caboolture this afternoon after the distinctive car in which they were travelling was seen.

Concerns were raised when the father failed to drop his son back to his Murrumba Downs home on Wednesday and today an emergency amber alert was issued.

Police said the father's behaviour was out of character.

He is being questioned over the incident.
