Avoid public places in Paris: DFAT

The Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade has urged Australians in Paris to avoid public places following devastating terror attacks.

In latest travel advice, DFAT says further violent incidents could occur, and those in France should exercise normal safety precautions.

"Australians in Paris should minimise movement in public places, follow the media for latest information on security and follow the instructions of local authorities," the DFAT advice says.
