Australia’s Taylor Swift lookalike meets her idol

A New South Wales teenager regularly mistaken for her idol, Taylor Swift, has finally met the superstar.
Liv Sturgiss is a self-described “hardcore Swiftie for 6 years” who also bears a striking resemblance to the blonde US pop star.
She intentionally cuts her hair to match Swift’s, often wears the star’s trademark scarlet lipstick and shares her taste in fashion.
Ms Sturgiss often attracts double-takes, with Instagram images showing her posing with fellow fans who mistake her for the megastar.
The young woman also maintains a blog dedicated to Swift, which features parody videos.
During Swift’s recent 1989 World Tour performances in Australia, the lookalike managed to meet her idol face-to-face, and the resemblance was striking.
Other concertgoers also did a double-take when Sturgiss made an appearance in the 1989 merchandise tent.
