Scott Morrison prays for Australian man missing in North Korea
Scott Morrison has offered his prayers for an Australian man missing in North Korea, in the absence of any updates on the case.
Tour guide Alek Sigley, who lives in the hermit kingdom, has not communicated with relatives or been active on social media for the past week.
The prime minister prayed for the 29-year-old from Perth at a church service in Canberra on Tuesday morning, ahead of the opening of federal parliament.

"I must say my prayers this morning are for Alek Sigley and his family," Mr Morrison told reporters.
"This is a troubling situation and we will continue to use every effort we have to locate him and hopefully bring him home safely."
Mr Morrison discussed the Perth man's plight with world leaders at the G20 Summit in Osaka over the weekend.

However, there have been no recent updates on his whereabouts.
"I'm seeking and receiving regular updates," Mr Morrison said.
"But this morning, in the absence of those and indeed regardless of that, prayer is my response."
