Australian Hearing in dark over future

A government-funded hearing services body up for privatisation hasn't seen a report into its own future.
The Abbott government is talking to the sector about the impact of a scoping study into Australian Hearing before deciding whether it should be sold off, despite the agency yet to receive a briefing.
Asked why the study was being kept a secret, Human Services Minister Marise Payne told a Senate committee the matter was not in her purview because it was being managed by the finance department.
