Australia, India reach uranium agreement
AAP
Australia and India have cleared the way for uranium exports.
The procedures allowing Australian uranium to be exported to India were completed at a meeting between Malcolm Turnbull and Narendra Modi last week on the sidelines of the G20 summit in Turkey.
While Mr Turnbull's office has yet to publicly comment, Mr Modi has described it in a statement to Indian media as "a milestone and source of trust and confidence".
