Aust nurse remains under Ebola observation

An Australian nurse remains under Ebola observation in a UK hospital.

The nurse - whose name hasn't been released for privacy reasons - was transferred to the UK from Sierra Leone on Saturday following a "low-risk clinical incident" at the Australian-managed Ebola Treatment Centre (ETC) there, Foreign Minister Julie Bishop has said.

A medical assessment in the UK determined the risk of the nurse developing the deadly disease remained low.

Ms Bishop said the nurse would undergo "a highly precautionary" 21-day observation.
