Two Australians have posted stomach-churning videos online after finding what appear to be maggots in their Milo.

Julian Di Rosa, a young boy from Melbourne, appeared to be more excited than worried after making the grim discovery in his glass of Milo.

“Guys, guess what, just look what I found inside of my Milo,” Julian says in a video he posted to YouTube a fortnight ago.

“It's gross I can’t believe it. We are going to kill it, we are going to burn it,” he says.

Julian then proceeds to pour boiling milk onto the critter in a bid to kill it.

Making doubly sure the maggot is dead, he then drops a brick on top of it.

In a post on manufacturer Nestle’s Australian Facebook page last week, Jess Hale said she had made a similar discovery.

“So went to go make myself a glass of milo and there is weird wormy things in it,” Ms Hale’s post reads.

“Not what I was expecting in my Milo.”

A spokesperson for Nestle responded to Ms Hales post, saying they was “concerned” about what she had found.

“Thanks for alerting us to this issue and we look forward to speaking with you soon,” the spokesperson wrote.
