Aussie toddler ain't afraid of a little huntsman spider

Many people would shriek in terror at mere sight of a huge, hairy huntsman spider, but not this little Aussie toddler who wants to play with it like it’s a pet.

With no fear, the curious little girl reaches out to grab the enormous eight-legged creepy crawly with her little hand.

Obviously she thinks the little arachnid guy is in her home to eat all the bugs and insects and just want to be her friend.

"Is he a silly spider?" the girl's mother asks as the toddler shoots her arm out to touch the huntsman in the video posted to YouTube yesterday.

"Darling, don't grab him. You might scare him," the mum warns.

It's more likely the spider would be scared of the girl because Aussie kids don't scare easily.

When she grows up she'll probably be making her way into the surf to save sharks tangled up in fishing lines like some kids from WA did last month.
