Aussie emoji keyboard includes Vegemite jar, boomerang and a meat pie

Overseas Aussies yearning for Vegemite can now communicate their need in emoji-form - with a new Aussie-customised keyboard available for Android smartphones.

The keyboard features iconic Aussie symbols including surfboards, Uluru, a meat pie, a cockatoo and perhaps ominously, a shark and a crocodile.

The keyboard also includes phrases captured in quote bubbles, including “Struth”, “Bogan”, “Defo” and the national favourite, “Too Easy”.

Phone company OPPO developed the app but sadly, it is only available on Android phones – for now.
