Aussie BMX rider lands historic triple front flip

Queensland stunt rider Ryan Williams has made history, landing the first ever triple front flip on a BMX at Travis Pastrana’s infamous “Pastranaland” in the US.

Showing a ton of courage, Williams took a pounding with a series of failed attempts and heavy landings as he launched at least six metres into the air to pull the amazing stunt.

After each crash, he picked himself up and fearlessly hit the 3m-high ramp before finally landing the dizzying triple rotation.

Williams, 20, has been performing with stunt lunatics Nitro Circus for three years after first coming to prominence as a 15-year-old when he became the first scooter rider to have a fakie front flip captured on film.

The Caloundra youngster is now regarded as one of the best stunt riders in the world either on a bike or a scooter.

And his latest trick is sure to make him even more popular when he returns to Australia in May next year when Nitro Circus will tour to mark their 10th anniversary.

We can only wait with baited breath for what his next trick will be.
