Arrest warrant issued for Nathan Tinkler after court no-show

An arrest warrant has been issued for embattled coal mogul Nathan Tinkler after he failed to appear in an Adelaide court.

Mr Tinkler was due to be examined in the South Australian Supreme Court on Monday about his liquidated thoroughbred stud business, Patinack Farm.

When he failed to appear, Judge Stephen Roder issued an arrest warrant for the businessman.

Mr Tinkler's failed horse empire made headlines last year after the NSW ICAC investigated allegations it had been used to funnel suspect political donations to NSW Liberal Party campaigns.
