Arrest over Sydney bus schoolgirl assault

A man has been charged over the indecent assault of a schoolgirl on a bus on Sydney's north shore last month.

As school finished on February 28, the 10-year-old girl boarded the bus on Spit Road at Mosman with several other school children.

Police allege a man indecently grabbed the girl as he got off the bus.

Officers have been investigating the incident and seized CCTV from the bus.

On Thursday afternoon, police arrested a 59-year-old man at a bus stop on Spit Road.

He has been charged with aggravated indecent assault and has been refused bail to appear at Downing Centre Local Court on Friday.
