People's Choice winner of the Archibald Prize 2024 announced
A portrait of Aboriginal writer and academic Marica Langton AO has won the People's Choice Award in the 2024 Archibald Prize.
It comes after a portrait of Australian author Tim Winton won the 2024 Archibald Prize.
A portrait of Indigenous rapper Baker Boy was the winner of the Packing Room Prize.
Here are all the winner and finalists of the most prestigious portrait competition of the year.

Angus McDonald, from Lennox Haid, said he was overjoyed and emotional to receive the news that he had won the People's Choice award.
"I am so thrilled that the public voted my work as their favourite," he said,
"It's a privilege to be able to share Marcia's inspirational story with a wider audience through this painting.
"Receiving the award is a special honour to me, but equally, it's as much a strong vote of respect and admiration for Marcia Langton and acknowledges the profound part she has played in the struggle for Indigenous recognition and reconciliation in this country for over 50 years."
Langton has been praised as a trailblazer in the Aboriginal rights movement in Australia.

Tim Winton, Laura Jones

Kurrajong-based artist Laura Jones called her win a "life-changing moment".
"I am shocked and humbled to be chosen as the winner," she said.
Jones, who met Winton in 2016, thanked him for sitting for her.
"Tim is one of the world's greatest novelists and also a tireless advocate for the environment," she said.
"He is an inspiration to me as both an artist and as a human being."
Winton congratulated Jones on her win.
"I have to admit that I'm a very reluctant sitter, but I had seen Laura's paintings of the Great Barrier Reef coral gardens, including her beautiful and tragic depictions of coral bleaching, so I was a little more curious and open than usual," he said.
