Apology - Jindabyne assault charges

On July 11, 2018, 9NEWS broadcast a report of a man charged over a serious attack on two people in Jindabyne.

That report included vision of two people who were wrongly identified as supporters of the accused, Matthew Williams.

This was incorrect and the people depicted were in no way associated with the accused.

9NEWS sincerely apologises to the people depicted and regrets the error.
