Anti-mask protester arrested after infiltrating South Australia COVID-19 press conference
An anti-mask protester has been arrested after becoming violent at South Australia's daily COVID-19 press conference in Adelaide this afternoon.
The man, aged 46, had initially presented as media, with "the intention of asking questions about the effectiveness of face masks", when he was discovered and instructed by police to leave.
"He started acting in a disorderly manner... was arrested by a plain-clothes police officer and will be charged with disorderly behaviour," a spokesperson for SA Police said.

He was found to be in possession of a number of cardboard posters questioning the effectiveness of masks.

He initially attempted to pose as media. 9News
"What studies or experiments do you think show how effectively cheap face masks can filter out COVID-19?" one of the posters read.

"Do you have a theoretical concept, that uses biological, chemical and physics principles, of how cheap face masks, will or will not, filter out COVID-19? Can you explain?" said another.
It took as many as four officers to restrain the man.
