Man accused of killing Angry Anderson's son to use mental illness defence
The man accused of killing Australian rock legend Angry Anderson's son in a Sydney street is expected to use mental illness as part of his defence, a court has been told.
Mathew Flame, 21, has been charged with the murder of Liam Anderson, who died of serious head injuries in Queenscliff on November 4, 2018.
Flame was allegedly under the influence of MDMA, marijuana and alcohol at the time.

"Not guilty, ma'am," he said when the charge was read out in the NSW Supreme Court today.
Justice Elizabeth Fullerton was told the Narraweena man's mental fitness was not an issue, but he planned to use mental illness in his defence.
Crown prosecutors have sought to have Flame assessed by forensic psychiatrist Richard Greenberg, who is expected to provide a report by January 31.
The matter is due to return to the Supreme Court for further pre-trial management on February 14.
