Alleged north Qld Rebels bikies face court

Three alleged Queensland Rebels gang members have appeared in court charged under the state's anti-bikie laws.

Kiel Vaughan Collins, Jason Michael Heang and Dominic Michael Muhling were arrested during raids on their Townsville homes on Thursday.

Police allege photos of two police officers were seized along with a taser, batons, ammunition, Rebels paraphernalia and drugs during the raids.

The men face a number of charges including being participants of a criminal organisation and being knowingly present in a public place.

It is alleged they met twice at a local gym in early December, illegal under the state's tough anti-bikie gang laws.

Police claim one of the men is the president of the Townsville Rebels' chapter and the other men are gang members.

The men remain in custody after briefly appearing before the Townsville Magistrates Court on Friday afternoon, a court spokeswoman told AAP.

Their cases have been adjourned until Monday.

Heang, 31, is also facing a number of weapons and drugs charges and Muhling, 28, also faces one charge of possessing a dangerous drug.

Collins, 41, has only been charged under the state's anti-bikie gang laws.
