AFL executive Ali Fahour caught in another on-field attack

AFL executive Ali Fahour has been caught in another violent on-field attack, as calls grow louder for the League to take action against him.

New footage shows Fahour hitting an opponent behind play during a round three Northern Football League match earlier this year.

It comes after the AFL's diversity manager coward punched an opponent during a match on the weekend, sparking calls from anti-violence campaigners for him to be sacked.

Joining those calls are families of one punch victims including Caterina Politi, the Melbourne mother of David Cassai who was killed by a coward punch in Rye in 2012.

NBA star Andrew Bogut, boxing champion Danny Green and the Victorian Premier have also condemned Fahour's actions. Daniel Andrews says, "there's no acceptable place on the football field or off for that sort of conduct".

The AFL says it won't take action until after Fahour's tribunal hearing tonight, where he could face the possibility of a life time ban.
