Albanese still side stepping leadership

Labor frontbencher Anthony Albanese continues to bat away suggestions he will challenge Bill Shorten if Labor loses the election on Saturday.

Mr Albanese wouldn't bite at repeated questions about his leadership intentions on Friday, with the opposition leader's position automatically spilled upon a loss.

"We are campaigning each and every hour and that is our only focus," Mr Albanese told Nine Network.
