Alannah Hill to pull out of David Jones stores

Australian fashion label Alannah Hill has confirmed it will remove its concession outlets from department store giant David Jones.

The announcement, which will see all Alannah Hill concession outlets in David Jones close, was confirmed by two Alannah Hill outlets, ABC reports.

Staff said all concession outlets will be shut down in the coming months.

The fashion label will not close its boutique stores.

The news follows a devastating year for Australian shoppers, with retailers Dick Smith, Masters, Payless Shoes and Pumpkin Patch all shutting down.
