An Air Niugini flight has landed back in Brisbane shortly after taking off. (9NEWS) Nine
A plane has been forced to return to Brisbane Airport shortly after taking off.
Air Niugini flight ANG2006 circled multiple times after taking off this afternoon bound for Port Moresby.

The Boeing 737 made it as far as Bundaberg before it turned around.
It’s unclear why the airliner was forced to turn back, with airport officials saying it was not an emergency landing.
9NEWS has contacted the airline for comment but has not yet received a reply.
