In what can only be described as a crime against fashion, Port Adelaide Football Club has unveiled the latest item to hit its online store. And it's horrific.

Despite winter recently ending, the bulky knit akin to something from a 1980s Women's Weekly knitting pattern is now available for sale.

That's right, you can pay good money to look like that without having to wait for Nanna to give it to you for Christmas.

The official Twitter account for Port Adelaide Power tweeted a photo of the new piece of merchandise with the caption "they're so bad...they're good", however that remains to be seen.

A few Port Power fans have tweeted their interest, possibly blinded by the fact player Chad Wingard is modelling the jumper in the photo.

Other Twitter users suggested they were launched a day too late, after South Australia was hit with a freak hail storm yesterday.
