Adelaide man behind bars over alleged shooting in suburban street
South Australian detectives have scoured an Adelaide home for signs of a weapon following the arrest of a man over an alleged shooting on a suburban street yesterday.
Jeffrey Cutting, 42, was arrested at a property on Willison Road in Elizabeth South, north of the CBD, for allegedly firing gun shots at two people seen speeding away in a car.
Police allege another man and woman arrived at the property to be paid for items they had sold and were seen moving between the house and a car several times before shots were fired.

Two people were also driven away from the property today by police. Authorities have not said whether they are assisting with police enquiries.
Neighbours told 9News they heard a commotion before "three cap-gun shots", and said they were shocked by Cutting's arrest.

"(It has been) about three years since we've been here, and he seems like a good bloke," one neighbour said.
Mr Cutting briefly appeared in an Adelaide court today via video link.
The court was told four gel blaster guns were seized at the property.
Mr Cutting did not apply for bail.
