Authorities are working to clear Unley Road for morning traffic.

Also overnight, a Holden sedan crashed into a fence during a slow-speed pursuit at Felixstow, north-east of Adelaide.

Police said they first noticed the car driving erratically at 1.30am on Erin St, Broadview, and it then allegedly sped away from officers.

The 47-year-old driver was arrested at the scene and charged with driving dangerously to escape a police pursuit, driving unlicensed, unregistered and uninsured, and resisting police.

There have been about five police pursuits in Adelaide over the past month.

Anyone with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
