An Adelaide man engaged in sex talk with women in China before allegedly pushing his wheelchair-bound wife Helen into a pond, a court has heard.

One month after Peter Dansie allegedly murdered his wife, he had bought a ticket to China.

Dansie is accused of packing a suitcase with condoms, Viagra and sex toys for the trip.

A judge removed a secrecy order on the allegations today.

Police footage from the night of the death showed Dansie acting calmly when speaking to officers, even joking with them.

"Nothing worse than a wet hanky," he remarked.

The day of his wife's death, he brought up China unprompted.

"I look after a lot of Chinese students," he said.

"Most of them have gone back to China now. When they got married they invited me over for the wedding. It's really nice."

Dansie has denied murder, and said his wife rolled into the pond in South Parklands accidentally.

The trial will likely wrap up on Monday.
