Heart-stopping moment arsonist pours fuel on car and sets it alight

CCTV has captured the moment an arsonist poured fuel over a car south of Adelaide before setting it alight.

Police are searching for the man who wore a hooded suit and a balaclava as he set fire to the car at Old Noarlunga early this morning.

Just after 4am, police and fire crews were called to a home on Main South Road.

When crews arrived, they found a Holden sedan alight in the driveway of the home.

Authorities extinguished the blaze which unfortunately destroyed the car. The fire did not spread to the house.
