Elderly man died after being crushed by his own car during maintenance work
An elderly South Australian man was killed overnight when he was crushed beneath his own car.
Emergency services were called to a home on Martins Road in Greenfields, north of Adelaide, around 6pm following reports a person had become trapped beneath a vehicle.
A 68-year-old man was pinned underneath the car after he had been carrying out maintenance work.

It is believed the car may have rolled forward while he was working on it, crushing him.
Paramedics who arrived to treat the man later pronounced him dead at the scene.
Police are now investigating the incident and the vehicle has been seized for examination.
