Bus crashes in Adelaide after passenger throws coins at driver

A bus has taken out a set of traffic lights in Adelaide overnight, after the driver was allegedly assaulted by a passenger who refused to pay his fare.

The driver allegedly had coins thrown in her face by the man on Prospect Road at about 6.30pm.

The incident caused the driver to smash into the nearby set of lights.

Nobody was injured.
