Adelaide actor and disability advocate Quentin Kenihan dies aged 43

Adelaide entertainer and disability advocate Quentin Kenihan has died at the age of 43.

Kenihan, who was an actor and writer, was born with a bone disease called osteogenesis, or brittle bones.

He was best known for his TV interviews as a child with veteran Australian journalist Mike Willesee.

It is believed he died from a suspected asthma attack.

In the weeks before his death, the media personality had been campaigning for a seat on the City of Adelaide Council.

Tributes have started flowing in for Kenihan, with Australian actor Russell Crowe reacting to the loss of "my little mate".

"Devastating news. My little mate, the bravest bloke I ever met… gone," the actor tweeted.

“Not confined any more… between your interviews, your book, your one man show, your zany little movies… what a creative and productive life. Lots of love."
