Actress Marion Cotillard confirms pregnancy and breaks silence on Brad Pitt cheating rumours

French actress Marion Cotillard has addressed the Brangelina media storm in a lengthy Instagram post, saying her long-time partner is the “man of her life” and confirming they are expecting a child.
Following the announcement of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s divorce after 12 years of marriage, rumours began circling in US media that Cotillard and Brad Pitt had an affair.
Cotillard and Pitt are starring alongside each other as lovers in the upcoming film Allied.
Now, Cotillard has taken to Instagram to respond to the rumours and declare her love for her boyfriend of nine years, actor, film director and screenwriter, Guillaume Canet.
“This is going to be my first and only reaction to the whirlwind news that broke 24 hours ago and that I was swept up into,” she wrote.
“Many years ago, I met the man of my life, father of our son and of the baby we are expecting. He is my love, my best friend, the only one that I need.
“I do very much wish that Angelina and Brad, both whom I deeply respect, will find peace in this very tumultuous moment.”
The trailer for Allied dropped yesterday and shows the pair in heated embraces as they fall in love during World War II.
